The Company Line

Just in case anyone wanted to enjoy the book (or the movie for that matter) a radio show ruined it all for me, so I am going to now ruin it all for you.

First of all Albus Dumbledore is killed by a turncoat Snape (Alan Rickman in the movie.)

Hermione and Ron get it on.

Draco Malfoy apparently leaves Hogwarts.

That about sums it up.

I hated to do it to you, but it was done to me and I am feeling rather mean today, due to the fact that I sat in traffic for an hour and a half while leaving Chicago.

I stand by none of these facts because I didn't read the book. Why should I bother if certain radio disc jockeys are just going to ruin it anyway.

No Blood for Oil

I would like to congratulate those who held up the signs protesting the Iraqi War, with "No Blood for Oil."

I would consider your efforts a rousing success, if that success can be measured by the insane levels that I am paying for gas. Let's hope that if it was a war for oil, I would at least have a cheaper bill after filling up my gas tank.

(I am sure there are a lot more economic factors and oil-producing nations involved in the prices at my local gas station, but still!)
